comparison of the day: jenny vs pakurio

well, above are the cards that we're going to compare today!! yes, i know they appear similar to you, same cost, same power, same effect more or less..? some of you might have trouble choosing which one to use in your deck too, which is why we are going to compare them today. (ignore the civilisation difference for this article)

"why would you want your opponent to have more shields?? doesn't it make him more difficult to kill?? and, what if the card i want to get rid of is a shield trigger?? pakurio sucks!! i'm taking jenny!!" must be the first thought that comes to many of your minds. but hey, do hang on!! don't get to such a hasty conclusion..here are some reasons why.

1. consider the current meta.

i believe everyone has encountered this ever annoying card nowadays...presenting to you: berlin!! (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Berlin,_Bell_Gravekeeper). this bloody irritating and annoying card totally renders jenny useless. in case you are wondering, YES YOUR OPPONENT CAN TAKE BACK THE CARD YOU DISCARDED WHEN JENNY-ED. pakurio 1 jenny 0. and then...there is our beloved emk (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Eternal_Meteor_Kaiser) too. if your opponent has 1 hand left and it's an emk...GG. other than a pakurio, i really can't see how anyone can get rid of emk from your opponent's hand (comment below if you have any suggestion!!). seems like it's pakurio 2 jenny 0 right now then.

2. methods of recursion.

inferno sign (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Inferno_Sign) and babelginus (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Babelginus,_Demonic_Dragon). nuff said. your jenny might just be helping your opponent shield recovery?? i can only see kodamanma (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Kodamanma,_Gil_Gil_Puppet or http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Kodamanma,_All-Devouring_Puppet) being played now..pakurio 3 jenny 0. i believe anyone would love to pakurio a guljeneraid (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Necrodragon_Guljeneraid) too heh.

well, you guys should know my verdict by now...pakurio > jenny right now due to the current meta. berlin is just...waaaayy too annoying. and since pakurio is a cyber lord, you can do quite a couple of things with it too, am loving illusionary merfolk (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Illusionary_Merfolk) with it i can actually predict more people shifting to pakurio..not only because of emk and berlin of course, i believe wedding (http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Wedding,_Zenith_of_%22Celebration%22) is an incentive for you to play pakurio too heh.
